Q: When I enter my seats into unseat.me how do you know what tickets I am selling?
A: After you tell us what seats you have, we quickly check with StubHub to see if you have any tickets listed there for sale. If you do, we put those games on your list. If you want to sell/share more games you can either select to show them on unseat.me with a Contact link so people can get in touch with you about those games or you can list them for sale on StubHub and we will pull them into your unseat.me page for you.
Q: Why cant I change the price on tickets listed on StubHub and other marketplaces?
A: In order to make changes to tickets listed on marketplaces outside of unseat.me you need to log in to those sites. We import the data so any changes you make to those listings, you will see on your unseat.me page. Tickets listed on unseat.me that have not been imported from other marketplaces can be edited.
Q: Why is there a Buy link next to some games and a Contact link next to others?
A: unseat.me does not provide tools for buying and selling tickets so we link to other sites where you may have listed your tickets. If we find your tickets listed on a marketplace that allows people to buy them, we provide a Buy link. If the seats are only listed on unseat.me, we let people contact you to make your own arrangements.
Q: There are games showing up on my unseat.me page that are not mine. Why?
A: We look at all of the games listed on StubHub and import any tickets that match your information. If you have given someone else your tickets and they listed them on StubHub, those tickets will show up on your dashboard and public page at unseat.me. If you want to hide those games or any others, you can simply click the green check box next to the game. The green check will turn to a red "do not list" symbol and the game will be removed from your public page.
Q: How much does this cost me?
A: Nothing. Sort of. unseat.me is free to use. We do not currently charge for any of our services. But, if you list your tickets on StubHub or other sites there may be fees. We are happy to point your buyers to those sites and we will not charge for that. But you should check with the marketplace about their fees so there are no surprises.

Q: When I am ready to buy, why am I taken to another site?
A: unseat.me only offers a platform to share tickets. All transactions are handled by secondary ticket markets like StubHub.
Q: Does unseat.me guarantee tickets?
A: No, we do not guarantee tickets because we do not handle the transaction. However, we do encourage sellers to be 100% honest and transparent in their dealings. Some of the secondary ticket markets like StubHub do guarantee tickets to be authentic so, if you have a problem, you may want to take it up with the site where you actually paid for the ticket. They may be able to help. Still, we want to hear about any problems so we can work to prevent future issues.
Q: How should I use unseat.me as a buyer?
A: We suggest visiting your friends unseat.me pages often to see what tickets they have to share/sell. If you find seats you like, buy from that person again. Personal relationships around shared tickets are the goal of unseat.me and if you can score great tickets out of the deal, thats even better.
